Today I took an afternoon stroll through downtown Phnom Penh and these are some of the shots I took over the course of just a couple of hours…
This blog doesn’t even begin to capture the magic of a real afternoon stroll through Phnom Penh but I hope it gives a glimpse of what great wonders await in the ‘Pearl of Asia’ that is Phnom Penh.
Great pictures! Presumably the same Tyler who helped me when I snapped my Achilles in Tokyo?
Indeed Tim! I hope you are fully healed now. We even sent you a solar-powered lucky cat as a get well present but it appears to have never made it to you… quite sadly.
Hi Tyler, all healed now thanks! Followed it up with. Kidney transplant last July so not allowed to travel yet. Very kind of you all to send the cat, shame I didn’t get it as I’ve always wanted one of those. See you on a future trip hopefully. All the best, Tim
Here’s my experience in Vietnam:
Great pics. I love the way motobikes in SE Asia are also used as deckchairs, armchairs, hammocks, La-Z-boys etc!
I know it! If only we had the weather to ride them year round here as well. Nothing beats a motorbike!
Love your photos, they are so intimate and give a real sense of things as they are. Have been enjoying your blogs as well. REALLY hope you’ll be the tour guide for the Indochina Encompassed tour in November of this year. Am so looking forward to it.
