Charlotte Bower

Charlotte Bower

Originally from Brixham, a fishing town in bucolic south Devon, Charlotte is part of our dedicated team of travel consultants who work hard to put together fantastic holidays in Southeast Asia. Before joining us in Bristol, she spent nine months working as a deckhand on a maxi racing yacht in the Whitsunday Islands, where she sailed, led snorkeling trips and guided visitors to the third most beautiful beach in the world – not a bad job! Charlotte has also seen plenty of the travel industry from the other side, having explored Europe, South America, Australia, and of course Southeast Asia. On a recent visit to Burma in 2015, she spent her time researching destinations for InsideBurma and found the spectacular landscapes of Bagan a personal favourite - she is also a big fan of the train journey between Mandalay and Pyin Oo Lwin, which passes over the stunning Goteik Viaduct.
