Ruth Hubbard

Ruth Hubbard

Before joining us at InsideAsia, Ruth worked in an eclectic array of capacities, ranging from marketing Bosch power tools in Germany to entertaining kids at an Italian summer camp, teaching English in Malawi, working in a flower shop and scoring at a clay pigeon range (to name but a few). In Indochina, she has travelled the length of Vietnam from north to south and followed the Mekong through Laos and into Cambodia - both times researching the very best hotels and experiences to offer to our clients. Her favourite place in Southeast Asia was the elephant conservation centre in Sayaboury, Laos, where she met ex-working elephants given a better life by the sanctuary, and passed her elephant driving test! When she's not in the office or on the road, Ruth is a stalwart of her local netball team, a fan of foreign films and cider, and loves reading books set in far-flung places.
