Tyler Palma

Tyler Palma

Originally from Wyoming, Tyler moved to Vietnam at the age of 22 and began leading walking tours of the northern regions of the country, as well as kayaking trips in Halong Bay. Since then, he has spent over a decade travelling in Southeast Asia and beyond - visiting over 67 countries, living all over East Asia, and leading tours across Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, China, Korea, Japan and Burma. Though he is now based in Tokyo, Japan, Tyler continues to lead tours for InsideVietnam and never fails to get glowing reviews from his customers! Recently, Tyler received his Masters degree in the Political Economy of East Asia - a great personal achievement that he has been working towards for some time. Not only is he conversant with the ins and outs of East Asian politics and economics, he is also an avid practitioner of Japanese calligraphy, a whiskey aficionado, and a fan of East Asian art.
